Worshipping the Living God

Almighty Eternal Merciful Father through the Resurrection of your Son He en-fleshes Daily Apostle’s skin and bones. May all who believe in Jesus the Holy Eucharist – worship the Lamb in the center of the throne; and receive Him in Holy Communion. Amen.

Upon awaking I prayerfully prepare to meet the God who gives me life. As I drive to behold the Living God within His Church I am consumed.

“For over a half century, every day, beginning on 2 November 1946, when I celebrated my first Mass in the Crypt of Saint Leonard in Wawel Cathedral in Krakow, my eyes have gazed in recollection upon the host and the chalice, where time and space in some way `merge' and the drama of Golgotha is re-presented in a living way, thus revealing its mysterious `contemporaneity'."

"The treasure of the Eucharist, which the Lord places before us, impels us towards the goal of full sharing with all our brothers and sisters to whom we are joined by our common Baptism. But if this treasure is not to be squandered, we need to respect the demands which derive from its being the sacrament of communion in faith and in apostolic succession."

"In the humble signs of bread and wine, changed into his very body and blood, Christ walks beside us as our strength and our food for the journey, and he enables us to become, for everyone, witnesses of hope."–Pope John Paul II Encyclical Ecclesia De Eucharistia

As I am fed from the Table of the Word, the Sacred Scriptures, I am supernaturally enlightened ready to be nourished at the Lord’s Table.

Knowing that you are praying to, worshipping before, directly praising, and walking down the aisle to the Living God allows one to become an instrument of salvation to the ends of the earth.

“If we walk in the light, as God is in light, there is fellowship among us, and the blood of his Son, Jesus Christ, will cleanse us of all sin, alleluia.” (1 John 1:7) “Therefore, brothers, since through the blood of Jesus we have confidence of entrance into the sanctuary by the new and living way he opened for us through the veil, that is, his flesh, and since we have ‘a great priest over the house of God,’ let us approach with a sincere heart and in absolute trust, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.” (Heb 10: 19-22)

A good man is filled with the Holy Spirit and faith. God is revealed to the childlike. “Father, they are your gift to me, I wish that where I am they also may be with me, that they may see my glory that you gave me; because you loved me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:24)

“In Your Name, I will accomplish everything and overcome everything. My God, Infinite Goodness, I beg of You, let Your infinite mercy accompany me always and in all things. My Jesus, my strength and my only hope, in You alone is all my hope. My trust will not be frustrated.” –St. Maria Faustina of the Blessed Sacrament

"Jesus, Crucified and Risen, stay with us!  Stay with us, faithful friend and sure support for humanity on its journey through history!  Living Word of the Father, give hope and trust to all who are searching for the true meaning of their lives.  Bread of eternal life, nourish those who hunger for truth, freedom, justice and peace" -Pope John Paul II, May 27, 2005.

“Pope John Paul II bore a great love ‘for Christ, truly present in the Sacrament of the Altar’. For those who witnessed him each day taking important decisions, he would spend a long time before the Most Holy Sacrament" -Archbishop Leonardo Sandri, of the Secretariat of State

I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their God.  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, for the old order has passed away.” The One who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new. Then he said, Write these words down, for they are trustworthy and true.” (Rev 21:5)

God’s Reign of Eucharistic Love stretches into eternity. The Almighty Father preserves remnant faithful who remain true to Christ. Their heart’s desire is more love, available to anyone at anytime. The Living One has revealed, and continues to reveal, His saving power to the nations, alleluia!
