“To us He was given, to us He was born of a pure Virgin.” From Pange Lingua the First Vespers of the Corpus Christi Liturgy. Through Mary came the Incarnation. That in the Holy Eucharist is the same Jesus Christ who lived, died, and rose from the dead for our salvation.
St. John Marie Vianney, the Cure of Ars, during his homilies would walk up to the Tabernacle touch it and say emphatically, “He is here!” And they believed.
