11th Annual Thanksgiving in Pontiac and Lansing -- 312 Turkey Baskets Delivered!

Thanksgiving Greetings,

Thanks Be To God and you for all your help with this years Thanksgiving Turkey Drive.

With your help we were once again able to feed thousands of those in need in Pontiac, Detroit, and Lansing, MI.

On Wednesday November 24 we arrived at Shared Pregnancy in Lansing around 12:00pm. The class for young mothers and fathers with little children was just concluding. We had Turkey Baskets waiting for them. With tears in their eyes they thanked us, and you, for the generous act of love.

Although donations were down the Holy Spirit and through the intercession of St. Joseph we were able to provide 400 families with large bags of Thanksgiving items.  

The greatest blessing I realized during Thanksgiving 2010 is the many Catholic parishes, other Churches, charitable organizations, etc. that are now meeting the needs of their local community..

In 2011,  Daily Apostle will need your financial and volunteer assistance even more. We plan to serve families so they can better celebrate Easter and Thanksgiving..
