Thanksgiving 2019 Thank You Note – Challenges Abounded - Yet Trust In
The LORD Prevailed!
In the most perilous of times, a light shone brightly in Lansing, MI. It
was the light of all those who participated in the Turkey Drive.
Sometimes it felt like riding in a speedboat with engine trouble but we
made it across the finish line with

But
once
we reached
our goal and all the needs were met for those who wanted a Turkey Basket
it was as if the Lord climbed into the speedboat and drove it the rest
of the way and gave us a beautiful victory for God.
Thanksgiving 2019 goes down as the most memorable since nearly 40
stalwarts went through the lines as 400 Turkeys were procured at a
reasonable price on Tue.11-26. Impact in Flint, Lincoln Park Crisis
Pregnancy Center and nearly 100 additional poor families responded to
God’s Call signing up the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.
As a result, five nineteen hour days in a row culminated by a nearly
perfect distribution of Turkey Baskets at St. Therese where joy-filled,
smiling faces of clients and exhausted volunteers gave great glory and
praise to God.
I am certain that Jesus would say to each of you, ‘I love you, my
wonderful servants,
and you will be paid back seven times over for your contribution to the
historic annual Turkey Drive
of
Michigan.

Dear Daily Apostle,
Thank you so much for giving 112 Shared Pregnancy families a very Happy
Thanksgiving! Everything worked so well today and our families were
genuinely so thankful. All of our volunteers enjoyed serving, and God
just created a happy, grateful, fun atmosphere at the center today and
people picked up their baskets. Thank you SO much for all the hard work
you put in once again this year. People are really blessed and God is
honored and it doesn’t get a lot better than that! Thank you from the
bottom of my heart, from all the staff and clients at Shared Pregnancy!

generous donation of the 30 Thanksgiving Baskets. Our clients were
both grateful and ecstatic to receive the baskets. One mother
stated, "wow, for real!!" Yes, I want it." Another said, "God
Bless you for thinking about them." I heard things like awesome,
that's what's up and others. In essence, they all were very happy to be
given the resources to experience a traditional Thanksgiving Day
Meal. Thank you to your team and benefactors once again for thinking of
